The killing of innocent victims in the Gaza Strip in Israel's aggression against Palestine has been condemned by numerous public figures. Today, our national football team and Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begović also condemned it. On his Twitter profile, he left a message in English stating:
- All these disturbances in certain parts of the world are incredibly disturbing. Innocent children and people have suffered. Can't we all just get along? - Begović asks.
Yesterday, national team player Vedad Ibišević also condemned the violence through social media, writing in English "stop the killing of innocent people", and illustrated the status with a photo of a bloodied Palestinian child.
Since the beginning of Israel's attacks, which has repeatedly violated UN decisions, 306 Palestinians have been killed and about 2,250 have been wounded. So far, 74 children and 26 women have died.
A peaceful protest march will be held in Sarajevo again today, from Baščaršija to the BBI Center.
