Begović: Apologies for the unreal defeat, Bosnia is loved even when it loses

One of the best individuals on the field in Brazil against the Nigerian national team, goalkeeper Asmir Begović, has apologised to all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, reports the Patria news agency.

He is the first of the national team players to speak out after the defeat. During the match, he saved the Bosnian net nine times and was a true minister of defence.

- Dear fans of the national team, I am sorry that we disappointed you last night with that unreal defeat, and do not forget that Bosnia is loved both when it loses and when it leads, thank you all for your support - said Begović.

Besides his excellent saves, Begović will also be remembered from the match against Nigeria for the moments when he lifted Nigerians off the ground who were rolling on the grass, in order to save as much time as possible and prevent us from reaching the long-awaited goal.
