Begić: The coach's name will not be known before July 10

The name of the coach of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team will not be known before July 10, Elvedin Begić, president of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, confirmed to the Patria news agency.

- Safet Sušić is currently preparing reports and analyses, and on the other hand, competent people in the committees are also doing their analyses. We will see what happens, but I don't think anything will be known before July 10 – says Begić.

BiH has been without a coach since last night after Sušić's contract expired, but as we learn, he is willing to stay on the BiH bench and lead the Dragons through the qualifiers for the European Championship.

- There is a lot of work ahead of us and a time for major analyses. I don't decide alone who will be the coach, there are many other factors and people – Begić added.

Sušić was eliminated in the group stage in Brazil at the World Cup, and immediately after the elimination, speculations began in the public that the match against Iran would be Sušić's last on the BiH bench. Allegedly, Dušan Bajević, Sergej Barbarez, Faruk Hadžibegić, and Mehmed Baždarević are in the running for his successor.

- There are no agreements or discussions for now. We will see everything this month after we finish the work of analyses and reports – Begić added.
