(Patria) - Speaker of the BiH Presidency Denis Bećirović reacted to the attacks by the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić and pointed out several facts.
“Final verdicts of the highest United Nations courts (the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia) have confirmed that genocide was committed against Bosniaks in the UN safe zone of Srebrenica. These are court verdicts that cannot be erased from the history of humanity. The highest UN courts have passed final verdicts, and no political spins by the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić can erase them. As the president of a UN member state, he is obliged to respect the verdicts of the UN courts,” stated Bećirović.
The President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić is clearly nervous because the entire civilized world understands his manipulative strategy and tactics, Bećirović says.
“Let’s not forget, we are talking about the closest decade-long associate of convicted war criminal Vojislav Šešelj, a participant in the barbaric siege of Sarajevo, and the author of the dark statement ‘for one Serb, we will kill 100 Muslims’. He is the last person who can lecture anyone in the region.
My commitment to civilizational values, truth, and justice, which is based on facts and arguments, cannot be stopped by anyone with insults and falsehoods.
The President of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić has once again shown that he has changed his rhetoric, but never his core policy. Unlike him, I will continue to advocate even more strongly for respect for the elementary norms of international law and civilizational values,” the reaction reads.
