Bećirović in Munich to open panel discussion 'Enlargement for Protection: Removing Grey Zones in the European Neighbourhood'

(Patria) - Member of the Presidency of BiH Denis Bećirović will participate in the Munich Security Conference from February 16-18, 2024, during which the most important international security challenges and problems in the world will be discussed at a high level.

During the conference, Bećirović will speak as an opening speaker at a panel discussion titled 'Enlargement for Protection: Removing Grey Zones in the European Neighbourhood'.

This year marks the 60th Munich Security Conference (MSC) in Munich, attended by a large number of heads of state and government, ministers, security experts, as well as representatives of international organizations and civil society. During the three-day conference, participants will discuss the greatest foreign and security policy challenges of the present and future, especially in light of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Key topics to be discussed at the Munich Security Conference will include the role of European countries in security and defense, new visions of the global order, the security implications of climate change, and much more. The conference will also be an opportunity to discuss cohesion within NATO and political commitment to an international order based on the rule of law.
