Bećirović in Berlin at the Conference on Ukraine's Recovery and Reconstruction

(Patria) - Chairman of the BiH Presidency Denis Bećirović is participating in an international Conference in Berlin on June 11 and 12, at the invitation of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Numerous high-ranking state officials are participating in the Conference.

The conference in Berlin is a continuation of the annual series of high-level political events dedicated to the rapid recovery and long-term reconstruction of Ukraine. It is also the first conference on Ukraine to be held in an European Union member state.

The first day of the Conference in Berlin began with an opening address by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, followed by addresses from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

The first plenary session is being held under the motto: "United in Defence. United in Recovery".

Chairman of the BiH Presidency Bećirović participated in a working meeting of heads of state and government, where he spoke about Bosnia and Herzegovina's experiences in recovering the country after wartime destruction.

During the Conference, discussions will focus on the progress of Ukrainian reforms in the context of its economic resilience and European Union accession process, as well as finding new models for the economic self-sustainability and resilience of the Ukrainian economy through the mobilization of human potential and the private sector with the aim of Ukraine's recovery.
