Bećirović-Sunak: United Kingdom strongly supports Bosnia and Herzegovina!

(Patria) - BiH Presidency member Dr. Denis Bećirović spoke with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Rishi Sunak, about the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is one of the most influential
world statesmen, and the meeting between Dr. Bećirović and him represents a strong confirmation of the United Kingdom's support for Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is one of the most important meetings of BiH officials with key Western leaders in the last decade, but also a clear indication of unquestionable support for the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens.

Bećirović informed Prime Minister Sunak about the danger of anti-Dayton actions that
threaten peace and undermine the constitutional order of BiH. He stated, among other things, that the support of the United Kingdom is extremely
important for ensuring peace, stability, and the protection of the Dayton Peace Agreement. It is time to oppose the destroyers of peace with concrete actions, Bećirović emphasized.

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (UK), Rishi Sunak, clearly stated that the United Kingdom strongly supports the independence, sovereignty, and
territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina and that it will take additional steps to
protect the peace process and the security of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Furthermore, he
emphasized that the United Kingdom, as a witness to the Dayton Agreement, is determined to continue to be a factor of peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina. UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak
stated that preserving peace and the democratic development of Bosnia and Herzegovina are key
priorities of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (UK) in this part of
Europe.

BiH Presidency member Denis Bećirović expressed gratitude to the UK Government for its continuous
assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as for the assistance programs in implementing economic
reforms, strengthening democracy, and rule of law reforms.
