Bećirović with new Ambassador of Greece: Accelerate BiH's integration into the European Union

(Patria) - BiH Presidency member Denis Bećirović received the newly appointed Ambassador of Greece to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ioanna Efthymiadou, for an introductory visit.

He wished the newly appointed Ambassador of Greece a successful diplomatic mission in our country.

Ambassador Efthymiadou thanked him for the welcome and conveyed greetings from the President of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, to Bećirović.

Bećirović thanked for the continuous and active support of the Republic of Greece to Bosnia and Herzegovina on its path to EU membership.

Ambassador Efthymiadou emphasized that the Republic of Greece is one of the leading countries in the EU's enlargement policy, and a sure voice of support for Bosnia and Herzegovina in achieving positive progress in the EU accession process as soon as possible.

During the conversation, it was stated that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Greece share very good and friendly relations at the bilateral and multilateral levels.

In the last few years, there has been a gradual increase in high-level visits exchanged between the two countries, which has significantly boosted the strengthening of cooperation.

The interlocutors expressed their readiness to intensify economic relations and increase trade exchange between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Greece in the coming period.

It was emphasized that there is also room for improving cooperation in the fields of energy and infrastructure projects.
