Bećirović spoke with Fajon: Slovenia continues to support BiH

(Patria) - BiH Presidency member Denis Bećirović spoke with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, Tanja Fajon, about the current security and political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as about Bosnia and Herzegovina's progress towards EU and NATO membership.

During a friendly conversation, Bećirović thanked for the strong support of the Republic of Slovenia for our country's European path, as well as for the personal commitment and support of Minister Fajon, as a proven friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina particularly appreciates Minister Fajon's strong commitment to the European future of our country.

Bećirović said that the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, is applying the methods used by Slobodan Milošević in the 1990s. Unfortunately, Vučić's regime is the main source of instability in the Western Balkans. His dangerous policy must be stopped in time so as not to cause tragic consequences again.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, Tanja Fajon, said that Slovenia will continue to support our country and that the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina lies in the EU and NATO. She said that important steps have been taken in the last two years towards Bosnia and Herzegovina's membership in the EU, and that reforms on this path will affect the improvement of the lives of all citizens.
