Bećirović-Reilly: UK strongly supports the sovereignty and territorial integrity of BiH

(Patria) - Member of the BiH Presidency Denis Bećirović spoke with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to BiH Julian Reilly about the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the relations between the two countries.

Bećirović emphasized that a dangerous attack on the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the fundamental provisions of the Dayton Peace Agreement has been ongoing for the third month. Separatist politicians who are undermining key institutions that guarantee peace and security in Bosnia and Herzegovina with anti-Dayton moves must not be underestimated. He said that it is important to intensify the cooperation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the countries that witnessed the Dayton Peace Agreement, with the aim of protecting peace and the constitutional order.

He stressed that the support of friendly countries, such as the UK, is of exceptional importance for the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially at a time when destructive politicians in the Bosnian entity of RS are endangering the European and Euro-Atlantic path of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ambassador Julian Reilly emphasized that the UK remains committed to supporting the rule of law, democratic processes, security, stability, and progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Ambassador Reilly stressed that the UK is determined to continue to be a factor of peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that it will work for the benefit of all citizens in our country.

Among other things, the member of the Presidency thanked the UK Ambassador to BiH Julian Reilly for the continuous support of the Euro-Atlantic path of Bosnia and
Herzegovina.

During the conversation, the interlocutors stated that they will continue with activities that will lead to the deepening of cooperation between the two countries.
