Bećirović: After the elections, we will abolish unconstitutional institutions

MOSTAR, STOLAC, (Patria) - At rallies held in Stolac and Mostar, Denis Bećirović, candidate for the BiH Presidency, stated that "from here we must send a clear message that the time has come to settle accounts with the ideology of segregation, discrimination and the implementation of convicted criminal policies".

- As a member of the BiH Presidency, I will give every atom of my strength so that together, through all institutions, with synchronized action, we can defeat the ideologies of division. There will never be a third entity here, there will never be a new para-state. We will not allow it. I will immediately withdraw the consent for the unconstitutional Čović's office, which all members of the BiH Presidency gave him, and do everything to have it abolished. I will not allow budget allocations for its further maintenance. I will be a member of the BiH Presidency for all citizens, and I will expect the same from other members, whoever they may be.

Nermin Nikšić, president of SDP BiH, said that Stolac and Mostar most clearly reflect all the catastrophic consequences of the rotten political agreements between SDA and HDZ BiH.

- Here, it is most evident what the policies of SDA and HDZ have done to Herzegovina. While HDZ BiH is tormenting the people in Stolac, tormenting all those who are not part of that policy, SDA pursues a policy of not offending its strategic partners at all levels. In Mostar, however, they are harmoniously tearing apart the city budget and perfectly fitting into the lawlessness they have jointly caused. Mostar shows that HDZ and SDA fear the people's vote the most. They do not give people the basic democratic right to elect local authorities; they have privatized and usurped local administration so that they can peacefully implement their deals.

They do not care about the rights, votes, and interests of the citizens. The biggest project they have jointly implemented in Mostar is the opening of Čović's unconstitutional office, the informal headquarters of the envisioned third entity. We will thwart their plan; we will return Mostar to the people of Mostar, and connect Herzegovina institutionally and infrastructurally with the center, with Sarajevo - concluded Nikšić.

Zoran Mikulić, holder of the list for the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, Lana Prlić, candidate for the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament, and Jasmin Imamović also addressed the rallies. As hosts, Demir Mahmutćehajić, president of OO SDP BiH Stolac, and Edin Zagorčić, president of GO SDP BiH Mostar, also addressed the attendees.

The speakers told the citizens that only a vote for SDP lists and for Denis Bećirović for the BiH Presidency is a vote for a persistent, meaningful fight against the division of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a vote for a policy of uncompromising opposition to all who want or agree to the ethno-territorial disintegration of the country.
