Bećirović visited former President of the Presidency of SFRY, Raif Dizdarević

(Patria) - Member of the BiH Presidency Denis Bećirović, on the occasion of November 25 – Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, visited with associates the former President of the Presidency of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, politician and diplomat Raif Dizdarević.

Raif Dizdarević thanked Bećirović for the visit and congratulated him on the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During a long and friendly conversation, Bećirović emphasized the importance of ZAVNOBiH, at which the statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina was restored on November 25, 1943. The anti-fascist struggle of the peoples and nationalities of Bosnia and Herzegovina placed our country on the right side of history.

The foundations of the modern state of Bosnia and Herzegovina were laid on the decisions of ZAVNOBiH.

Member of the BiH Presidency Denis Bećirović said that new generations have an obligation to remember and recall important historical moments from our past and personalities who marked past times. Raif Dizdarević left a deep mark by performing the duties of President of the Presidency of SFRY, President of the Assembly of SFRY, Federal Secretary for Foreign Affairs, and was also a direct participant in the National Liberation Struggle.
