Bećirović visited the BiH Embassy in London and spoke with representatives of the BiH diaspora in the UK

(Patria) - BiH Presidency member Denis Bećirović spoke with representatives of the BH UK Network organization (Association of Bosnian-Herzegovinian
Associations in Great Britain) at the BiH Embassy in London during his visit to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and
Northern Ireland.

Bećirović emphasized the importance of the work and activities of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian diaspora in the UK in advocating for the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and stressed that it plays a significant role in affirming the statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina and protecting its interests abroad.

It was stated that it is necessary to strengthen interaction with the BiH diaspora, which, through its continuous networking, strives to connect more strongly with its homeland and contribute to the
positive development of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Many people of Bosnian-Herzegovinian origin are extremely successful in the United Kingdom and are involved in the political,
economic, and other spheres of this country and can help in realizing the interests of Bosnia and
Herzegovina.

Denis Bećirović assessed that the BH UK Network represents an important link between the two
countries and an incentive for strengthening relations, as well as promoting the potential of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the
UK.

During the conversation, members of the BH UK Network organization expressed their readiness for this
organization to provide all necessary material and technical conditions for the opening of an
Honorary Consulate in Bosnian House in Birmingham. They also informed
Bećirović about new projects and initiatives that are important for the Bosnian-Herzegovinian
community in the United Kingdom, as well as preparations for the upcoming commemoration of the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Parliament of Great Britain.

Bećirović, among other things, welcomed the fact that in the last two years, the BH UK Network has organized the commemoration of the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Parliament of the United Kingdom, with the presence of a large number of parliamentarians and lords.

Representatives of the BH UK Network organization thanked Bećirović for supporting the work and activities of their organization, assessing that this enables more intensive joint work for the benefit of Bosnia and Herzegovina and all its citizens and peoples in the UK.

He said that the continuous organization of Bosnian-Herzegovinian supplementary schools in the UK, which are organized at the end of each school year, is of great importance and represents the most visited event of the BiH community in the United Kingdom.

The BH UK Network organization has been continuously providing assistance to the
Bosnian-Herzegovinian community in the United Kingdom for 27 years and connects them with their
homeland through numerous educational, business, cultural, and sports activities.
