Bećirović supports BH team in Olympic Village in Paris: You have already proven you are top athletes

(Patria) - Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Denis Bećirović visited and supported the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Olympic team in Paris.

Bećirović was welcomed by the President of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina Izet Rađo, the Secretary General of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina and head of the BH mission Said Fazlagić, together with five participants: Lana Pudar (swimming, 100 meters and 200 meters, butterfly), Larisa Cerić (judo +78kg), Aleksandra Samardžić (judo -70kg), and Mesud Pezer (athletics, shot put), and five coaches: Damir Đedović and Goran Grahovac (swimming), Branislav Crnogorac and Arijana Jaha (judo), Mehmed Skender (athletics), and BH team physiotherapist Miodrag Ranđelović.

''Athletes of Bosnia and Herzegovina, I wish you to proudly represent our homeland Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Olympic Games in Paris. You are part of the unique Bosnian-Herzegovinian Olympic family that will have the opportunity to show the best it can offer at this moment on the Olympic fields.

Carry the state flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina with pride and know that millions of people in the country and abroad stand behind you. By your very qualification for the Olympic Games, you have already proven yourselves as top athletes, and now it is time to write new pages of Bosnian-Herzegovinian sports history together.

I wish you good health and much success in the coming days and weeks. You are our best ambassadors, and the homeland Bosnia and Herzegovina is proud of you'' - Bećirović said on that occasion.

Bećirović and members of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Olympic team then headed to the mural dedicated to the Olympic truce, where Chairman Bećirović signed.

Members of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina thanked Chairman Bećirović for his visit and overall support to the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, emphasizing that his support is a great motivation for them to continue their efforts and dedication to present Bosnia and Herzegovina in the best possible light at these Games.

Also, they took the opportunity to highlight the need for more support so that our national Olympic team could be more numerous in the future.
