Bećirović condemns assassination attempt on Trump: Political violence is absolutely unacceptable

(Patria) - Chairman of the BiH Presidency Denis Bećirović condemned the assassination attempt on former US President and presidential candidate Donald Trump.

"I most strongly condemn the assassination attempt on the former President of the United States of America and presidential candidate Donald Trump.

This terrible act of political violence is absolutely unacceptable. One of the fundamental pillars of a democratic society is the right to free political action and the right to freedom of expression. Any form of political violence poses a direct threat to democracy.

I wish the former president of the friendly United States of America and presidential candidate Donald Trump a speedy recovery", Bećirović stated.
