Bećirović remains in SDP and does not form a party: If Dodik does not stop, new sanctions are not excluded

(Patria) - BiH Presidency member Denis Bećirović stated that combined sanctions against Milorad Dodik are not excluded if he continues with his destructive policy and threat to the security and independence of BiH.

"I am a person who does not underestimate threats to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of BiH. A few days ago, he stated that he wants border changes in Southeastern Europe. With his statement, he endangered several UN member states. Such threats to security, peace, and state borders have not been heard in Europe since the second half of the 1930s. If it is not stopped, there will be much harsher sanctions against such destructive politicians," Bećirović told Dnevnik 2 FTV.

Bećirović stated that he is not forming a new political party, although he constantly hears about it, and that he remains in the SDP BiH.

"I am a member of the BiH Presidency in these difficult times for BiH, my role is to protect independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity and to gather and connect all democratic forces," Bećirović said.

Milorad Dodik previously announced on Twitter, stating that Bećirović and Denis Zvizdić are undermining BiH.

Denis Zvizdić can write to whomever he wants, but that will not change the reality he lives in BiH, and that is that Republika Srpska matters and will matter. Let him read the Constitution and everything will be clear to him.

Only Denis Bećirović can match him in letters and failed initiatives. Maybe it would be convenient…
