Bećirović responded to Vučić: Instead of the word 'pride', start using the word 'shame'

(Patria) - The Chairperson of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, has once again spoken out regarding the adoption of the Resolution on the Genocide in Srebrenica in the United Nations General Assembly.

In an address on his Instagram profile, he stated that Bosnia and Herzegovina has won, convincingly, and that it is impossible to dispute.

"Month after month, year after year, this will become clearer and clearer, 84 votes for truth and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and only 19 votes for genocide deniers. Every vote for Bosnia and Herzegovina is as pure as a tear. We did not pay anyone 500,000 dollars to abstain. How much genocide deniers paid some countries, we will find out later," said Bećirović.

He emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina has shown dignity and fought for justice and truth.

"Bosnia and Herzegovina has shown strength and determination. Bosnia and Herzegovina has not fallen silent as the current president of Serbia claims, we express respect for the victims of the genocide in Srebrenica," he said.

He added that it was not a sports match in the UN General Assembly, but rather the adoption of the Resolution on the only genocide in Europe after World War II.

"Instead of using the word 'pride', I call on the president of Serbia to start using the word 'shame'," said Bećirović.

He invited him to read the judgment of the International Court of Justice, the judgments of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, and the Resolution of the United Nations General Assembly on the commemoration and remembrance of the genocide in Srebrenica, instead of serving media deceptions.

"Instead of the traditional nationalist discipline of turning obvious defeats into victories, I call on the president of Serbia to face the truth. It is time," Bećirović concluded.
