Bećirović paid tribute to martyrs in Kozarac and Kamičani

(Patria) - Member of the BiH Presidency Denis Bećirović visited Kozarac on the occasion of the Kurban-Bajram celebration.

Bećirović laid flowers and paid tribute in front of the Memorial Complex of the Martyr's Cemetery Kamičani – Kozarac.



He then congratulated Kurban-Bajram to the gathered citizens, representatives of the local community, and the Islamic Community. In a cordial atmosphere, the importance of continuous support for returnee communities, ensuring equal living conditions for all citizens, and strengthening institutions working in the interest of justice, truth, and reconciliation was emphasized.

Member of the BiH Presidency, Dr. Denis Bećirović, emphasized that Kozarac, with its residents, testifies to the courage, resilience, and love of people for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

He stressed the importance of building Bosnia and Herzegovina as a just and safe society for all its peoples and citizens.

Challenges faced by residents, especially young people, were discussed, as well as the need for greater investment in education, employment, and the development of local communities.

Before arriving in Kozarac, Member of the BiH Presidency Denis Bećirović performed the Bajram prayer at the Hambarine mosque in Prijedor.
