Bećirović on Serbian Army in BiH: Start of the anti-Dayton declaration implementation, I have a meeting with Schmidt tomorrow

(Patria) - The BiH Presidency did not approve the entry of Serbian Army members into Bosnia and
Herzegovina. Also, within the framework of the bilateral cooperation plan between the Ministry of Defense
of BiH and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia, this activity is not planned, said Denis Bećirović, Chairman of the BiH Presidency, in his reaction.

"Competent state institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
of BiH and the Ministry of Defense of BiH, must determine all circumstances and
facts related to this event as soon as possible.

The parade of the Serbian Army in Prijedor, a city where non-Serbs were marked with white armbands
before being taken to death concentration camps, represents another announcement
of the beginning of the implementation of Vučić's Greater Serbian and anti-Dayton declaration, adopted on June 8 in
Belgrade.

The international community must take the dangerous content of the adopted declaration of the so-called all-Serbian assembly seriously and in a timely manner, which represents a flagrant violation of international law and the sovereignty of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Also, it represents the undermining of the fundamental principles on which the European Union is based and the basic international principles on which interstate relations of United Nations member states are based," stated Bećirović.

As he said, for this reason, he scheduled a meeting with the High Representative of the international community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt, for tomorrow.

"The OHR, the EU Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina, EUFOR, NATO, and the states that witnessed
the Dayton Peace Agreement should seriously and comprehensively consider the state policy
of the Republic of Serbia towards Bosnia and Herzegovina, as it is the only country in the world that has
violated the UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide.

By a final verdict of the International Court of Justice, the highest legal body of the United Nations, it was determined that Serbia could have prevented the genocide against Bosniaks in and around Srebrenica, and it did not do so. Due to this and other verdicts of UN courts, as well as a number of other serious reasons, the Serbian Army has no right to be on the state
territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina," stated Bećirović.
