Bećirović on IMF tranche: It's important to take money for the party camarilla of SDA, HDZ, SNSD, SDS, SBB!

Damir Bećirović, Chairperson of the DF MPs' Club in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, reacted to the Council of Ministers' decision to withdraw the first tranche of the IMF loan, despite the House of Representatives' conclusion that future borrowing must be approved by Parliament, Patria reports.

- At the 33rd session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, at my proposal, a conclusion was adopted according to which the Agreement with the IMF must be confirmed by the highest legislative body in BiH - the BiH Parliament. Despite this, the BiH Council of Ministers, at an extraordinary telephone (?!) session, agreed, even though they are fighting tough pre-election national battles, to illegally and unconstitutionally indebt the citizens of our country for about one billion and one hundred million KM!!! When it comes to money, there is no nation, no referendum, no third entity, no war, no conflicts!!! It is important to take money for the party camarilla of SDA, HDZ, SNSD, SDS, SBB!!! For them, neither the BiH Constitution nor the laws of this country apply!!! – stated Bećirović.

We remind you that the BiH Council of Ministers, at an extraordinary session, made a Decision on withdrawing the first tranche of the Extended Arrangement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in the amount of 154,155,170.11 KM and authorized the Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH to issue a Promissory Note and carry out the necessary activities within their jurisdiction for the withdrawal of the first tranche.
