Bećirović to be the main speaker at UK National Day of Remembrance for Srebrenica

(Patria) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bećirović will participate tomorrow in London in a commemoration as part of the observance of the National Day of Remembrance of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for Srebrenica.

The event will be held at the headquarters of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Bećirović will address the guests, among whom will be members of the UK Government and both houses of the UK Parliament.

The UK will mark the 29th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica, as one of several countries that observe this event at the state level.

The host of the commemoration is the newly elected Labour Minister of State for Europe Stephen Doughty, and Bećirović will be the main speaker.

Last year, Bećirović also participated in the commemoration marking the National Day of Remembrance of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for Srebrenica at Lancaster House in London.
