Bećirović: Formation of the Army of RBiH is one of the most important decisions, thanks to those who sacrificed their lives for the state of BiH

(Patria) - Member of the Presidency of BiH Denis Bećirović sent congratulations on the occasion of the Day of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

"As a member of the Presidency of BiH, I express my deep gratitude to those who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to the war disabled veterans, the families of martyrs and fallen soldiers, the Golden Lilies, and all the soldiers.

Thirty-three years ago, the legal Presidency of RBiH passed a Decree on the formation of the Army of RBiH. This is one of the most important decisions in the long history of our country. It has been shown that the freedom-loving Army of RBiH is the most important historical fact in the centuries-long history of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Army of RBiH is most responsible for the fact that the results of the legal and internationally recognized referendum for an independent, sovereign, and indivisible Bosnia and Herzegovina were defended. Also, it is most responsible for the fact that our country's admission to the United Nations is not just a dead letter on paper. Our commitment is peace and security for all people. We will build peace and always be ready to defend the state, identity, honor, and dignity. We must be vigilant and cautious.

May loyalty and devotion to Bosnia and Herzegovina be stronger than personal egos and party animosities.

The preservation and development of Bosnia and Herzegovina are our debt to those who laid down their lives in defense of our only homeland, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Finally, once again, I congratulate one of the greatest dates in our entire history – the Day of the Army of RBiH.
May the unconquered state of Bosnia and Herzegovina live forever," Bećirović stated.
