Bećirović to Dodik: Respecting the BiH Constitution means you are committed to the independence and sovereignty of BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - “I am fighting for respect of the BiH Constitution and what was signed in Dayton”, Milorad Dodik repeated this obvious untruth again today, stated the Vice President of the SDP BiH, Denis Bećirović, and further elaborated:

"Milorad, it is time to stop embarrassing yourself and to face the truth. It is time to politically open your eyes and learn what the original and essential part of the Dayton Peace Agreement and the BiH Constitution is. That is why I remind you of the fundamental constitutional obligation which reads:

„Committed to the sovereignty, territorial integrity and political independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina in accordance with international law“.

Milorad, come to your senses and stop dragging all people into collective misfortune. Start reading the Dayton Peace Agreement and the BiH Constitution, and not just the collected works of failed Greater Serbian ideologues whose ideology has brought misfortune to entire generations. Especially learn what the word „committed“ means. „Committed“ means to decide for someone or something, to side with something, to choose between two or more options. Even more precisely, Milorad, it means that according to the BiH Constitution you are obliged to decide for the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to side with the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that between two or more options you are committed to the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Milorad, it is precisely because of you and those like you that the word „committed“ and a crystal clear explanation of that word exist in the BiH Constitution.

Milorad, as you can see, in the text of the BiH Constitution and the Dayton Peace Agreement there is not a single letter about commitment to the destruction of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, separatism and irredentism. Therefore, Milorad, either you will be committed to the sovereignty, territorial integrity and political independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina in accordance with international law, or you will definitively become an anti-Dayton and anti-constitutional outlaw fighting against international and domestic law. Milorad, use your head, there is no third option", stated Bećirović.
