Bećirović in London Today for UK National Day of Remembrance of Srebrenica

(Patria) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bećirović will participate today in London in a commemoration as part of the National Day of Remembrance of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for Srebrenica.

The event will be held at the headquarters of the State Secretariat of the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth and Development.

Bećirović will address the guests, including members of the UK Government and both houses of the UK Parliament.

The UK will mark the 29th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica, as one of the few countries marking this event at the state level.

The host of the commemoration is the newly elected Labour Minister of State for Europe Stephen Doughty, and Bećirović will be the keynote speaker.

Bećirović also participated last year in the commemoration marking the National Day of Remembrance of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for Srebrenica at Lancaster House in London.
