Bećirović: I am surprised that Zubac is still the director of SIPA

Staša Košarac, SNSD MP, commented today on the fact that the initiative of the Minister of Security, Dragan Mektić, for the dismissal of Žika Krunić, the chairman of the Independent Board of the BiH Parliament, was not on the agenda, reports the news agency Patria.

- Such an initiative did not even reach the expanded collegium. We received a proposal from DF to form an ad hoc committee of the House of Representatives to oversee the work of the Independent Board. That is an absurdity and in that way, political pressure would be exerted again - said Košarac.

He added that this is actually the relationship between SDS and SDA, as well as the relationship between SDS and some international organizations.

- The Zubac case is being unnecessarily politicized further - added Košarac. 

Denis Bećirović, SDP MP, said that it is unclear to him how Goran Zubac is still in the position of SIPA director, given the proceedings that have already progressed considerably.

- As an opposition MP, I will only say that I am surprised that this man is still in this high position - emphasized Bećirović.

We remind you that the initiative to discuss the dismissal of Žika Krunić, president of the Independent Board of the BiH Parliament, who is protecting the convicted director of SIPA, was not put on the agenda. He was sentenced to one year in prison conditionally on March 5.
