Bećirović congratulates Victory over Fascism Day and Europe Day: Special thanks to the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Golden Lilies

(Patria) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Denis Bećirović sent a congratulatory message to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of Victory over Fascism Day, Europe Day and Golden Lily Day:

“Dear citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina,

on the day when Europe celebrates the 69th anniversary of victory over fascism, and a free Europe marks its day, confirming the importance of the Schuman Declaration of 1950 and the commitment of European countries to cooperate on the basis of universal values, I wish to congratulate you on Europe Day and Victory over Fascism Day.

Today we also proudly mark Golden Lily Day. The Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina was the only legal, internationally recognized military force during the aggression against the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It guarded the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the libertarian achievements of liberation movements, opposing the aggression against the internationally recognized state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Shoulder to shoulder with the best sons and daughters of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Golden Lilies led numerous decisive battles throughout our homeland. They achieved great victories, so that we could live today in a free and independent state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

I am grateful to all members of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and I proudly congratulate them on Golden Lily Day,” Bećirović’s congratulatory message states.
