(Patria) - It is time for Bosnia and Herzegovina to make a statesmanlike move regarding the disposal of nuclear waste on the BiH border, and to sue the Republic of Croatia, said Džemal Smajić, delegate (SBiH) in the House of Peoples of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“Instead of the BiH Presidency member Denis Bećirović avoiding all possible crises during his term, it is time for him to act and, as the Bosniak member of the BiH Presidency, finally show that he cares about the country. I am sure that his colleague Željko Komšić will support such a move, and possibly Željka Cvijanović as well.
At the same time, this will be a test for the citizen from Laktaši, who will tell his voters whether he is working against their health and survival, not only today but for generations in the future, or if he is working for Croatia's interests and therefore dares not tell Cvijanović to initiate a lawsuit.
This concerns the health of hundreds of thousands of citizens of both Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia who live on the banks of the Una and Sava rivers downstream from Trgovska Gora. Anything can be expected from him, as he also refused to sue Croatia when it built the Pelješac Bridge against the interests of BiH,” Smajić stated.
