Bećirević Hosts Eight Retiring Municipal Employees

The Municipality of Centar Sarajevo, at the end of last year, bid farewell to eight of its long-serving employees who retired. On this occasion, the Mayor of Centar Municipality, Dževad Bećirević, along with his associates Jasna Beba, secretary of the municipal administration, and assistants, hosted a reception for the employees who have met the requirements for retirement, reports the Patria News Agency.

Bećirević thanked his former colleagues for their contribution throughout their working lives and their selfless commitment, which has helped the Municipality of Centar become, by all indicators, the most developed local community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

-I am proud to have had the opportunity to work with you, wonderful people who have always approached all work tasks and obligations placed before you with maximum responsibility. I wish you good health in the years ahead and that you enjoy your retirement for a long time, Bećirević stated.

Beba added that, although they have retired, all retirees of the Municipality of Centar can continue to consider this institution their second home, where they are always welcome.

Symbolic gifts were also presented to the retirees as a token of gratitude for all they have done during their tenure at the Municipality of Centar, but also as a reminder that their dedicated work is recognized and appreciated.

At the end of 2015, Mirjana Adžović-Prcović from the Service for Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Refugees and Displaced Persons, Zlata Silajdžić and Hamed Sućeska from the Service for Property-Legal and Geodetic Affairs and Real Estate Cadastre, Nafija Saračin from the Service for General Administration, Mujesera Elezović from the Service for Finance, Vildana Kujan from the Service for Local Self-Government, and Emin Jelić from the Service for Common Affairs retired, it was announced from the Municipality of Centar.
