Bećirević inspected parks and other green areas, satisfied with the work done

Mayor of Centar Municipality Dževad Bećirević, along with representatives of the Service for Spatial Planning and Communal Affairs Amela Landžo and Anira Dedović, inspected several locations that were arranged by the public utility company "Park" according to the signed contract with the Municipality. For the arrangement of smaller public and green areas in the Centar Municipality this year, 265,000 KM have been allocated, it was announced from the Centar Municipality, reports Patria.

- By the end of the year, the arrangement of 65 green areas is planned, which serve for recreation and relaxation for children and the elderly. In addition, in the municipal budget, we have provided an amount of 80,000 KM which will be used for the arrangement of pedestrian and trim trails and the maintenance of greenery in the city park "Jezero", for which the public utility company "Park" is also responsible - said Bećirević.

Half a million marks have also been allocated in this year's budget for the construction and renovation of stairs and almost three million for the construction, reconstruction, and renovation of local and uncategorized roads.

- Thanks to these investments in the Centar municipality, there is not a single unpaved road. I also want to emphasize that when paving some roads, the Centar Municipality often finances the reconstruction of the water supply and sewage network, because the public utility company "Vodovod i kanalizacija" does not have the financial means for this purpose - emphasized Bećirević, reports Patria.
