Bečarević: Earn, Forto, then spend, don't indebt our grandchildren

(Patria) - The President of the Cantonal Board of the Party of BiH KS, Almir Bečarević, commented on the address by the leaders of the Trojka parties today, and especially the head of Our Party, the Minister of Communications and Transport of BiH and former Prime Minister of KS, Edin Forto.

The reason for Bečarević's reaction was Forto's statement that he advocates for BiH to be heavily indebted at all levels of government.

- I no longer want a donation of a 50-year-old tram from Istanbul. I want a new tram, the most expensive one, because our citizens deserve it.

How will we buy something new if we don't borrow? It is necessary to invest in the future and modernization, and we cannot ensure sustainable growth with improvisations - Forto said, among other things.

Bečarević told Hayat.ba that today's press conference will go down in the annals of politics and should be studied at universities.

- Three horsemen of the apocalypse who are in power are making victims of themselves. Everyone is lying except them, everyone is attacking them except them, the whole world is against them, and they are the masters of life and death in BiH.

At the same time, Konaković talks about the birth rate, and they introduced a measure a few years ago to pay mothers 1,000 KM. That measure brought nothing because children are not made because of 1,000 KM; children are the result of a comfortable life and resolved basic needs for living with salaries worthy of having two or three children.

Nikšić talks about balance sheets. The Audit Office of FBiH gave a comment on the budget, the supreme audit institution, and now we should believe him. Believe a man who has never prepared a balance sheet in his life.

Forto was obviously under sedatives because the KS budget is already at an indebtedness of 9.5 percent, and the legal maximum is 10 percent of the budget revenue.

The citizens of Sarajevo want a railway for 20 million KM, not for 70 million. Citizens want trams for 20 million euros, not for 60 million. They have indebted KS for 600 million KM.
