Bečarević cancels participation in SFF panel due to festival scandal

(Patria) - The scandalous decision by the SFF management to allow the presentation of a Chetnik series and film has caused stormy reactions on social media, and the first official reactions are also coming from political representatives.

Almir Bečarević, Minister of Communal Economy of Sarajevo Canton, cancelled his participation in a panel that was supposed to be held tomorrow.

"I believe everyone should resign. After the embarrassment at the start of the festival and without a shred of empathy, this is the height of brutality towards this city. Shameful, with a senseless explanation, a mistake. This is not a mistake, it is an intention to humiliate everyone in this city. Resign and don't explain anything further," said Bečarević.

As part of the Sarajevo Film Festival program, the CineLink Drama Showcase of Telekom Srbija was held. One of the presented projects was Radoš Bajić's film “Heroes of Halijard”, about which Nedeljko Bajić, the film's producer and director of production at Constrast studios, spoke to the attendees.
