Bečarević explained the reasons why the Russian invoice is being hidden!

(Patria) - Former minister in the Government of the Sarajevo Canton Almir Bečarević published the Decision on the method of forming prices of natural gas and imported petroleum derivatives (Official Gazette of RBiH 43/15), in order to remove all doubt about how the price of gas is formed and to present to the public data aimed solely at accurate and truthful information.

This decision, Bečarević explains, was published in 1995 and is still in force today regarding natural gas.

"Since 1995, Energoinvest d.d. Sarajevo has calculated the approved 1% under this decision to cover the costs of gas imports. The percentage of 1% was calculated on all dependent costs that affect the formation of the purchase price of gas.

Energoinvest has all these years annually on this basis and for covering gas costs achieved a maximum of 2.3 million KM (annually).

This situation changes in 2021, when Energoinvest unilaterally stops respecting the approved 1% and begins to create an enormous difference between the purchase and sale price of gas.

Energoinvest does this based on a decision of the director and without anyone's consent, although even in the federal Regulation, for example, for the procurement of emergency quantities of gas, the percentage of 1% is retained.

The decisions on the price of gas submitted to the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina are decisions of the director, not the Supervisory Board of that company.

For this reason, the difference between the purchase and sale price of gas for Energoinvest dramatically increases and for the period from mid-2021 to the end of 2023 amounts to over 40,000,000 KM, although it could not have exceeded 4,000,000 KM if the calculation had been done according to the valid decision.

This price difference in gas enabled Energoinvest to achieve a profit of over 8 million KM in just the first six months of 2023.

At the same time, this price difference enabled us to register a drop in gas consumption in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and for Sarajevo to be the biggest air polluter in Europe and among the 10 polluters in the world.

Finally, these are the only reasons why Energoinvest is hiding the Russian gas invoice, although it is the only gas importer in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and a company with majority state capital," Bečarević stated.
