Bečarević on KS Government Reconstruction: The "Trojka" Wants a Majority with Turncoats, I Won't Resign, Let Premier Uk Resign!

(Patria) - Minister of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction, and Environmental Protection of Sarajevo Canton Almir Bečarević (SBiH) after official announcements for the reconstruction of the KS Government, which also includes his dismissal, responds, among other things, to the question of whether he is surprised by the announcement of the KS government reconstruction.

"Absolutely not, because work on this has been ongoing since the appointment of the KS government, in a way that certain SBiH deputies would be 'persuaded' to leave the caucus, which happened with two deputies. The market was available through the granting of positions, which the public has witnessed in the last two months. What surprised me is that Lemezan left Our Party, and then the same party forms a new majority with that same deputy. That SDP lost a seat in the House of Peoples of BiH due to Marjanović's game, and they said never again with Marjanović, and now they are forming a majority with that same deputy. That the "Trojka", which swears it won't deal with turncoats, is now forming a majority with those same deputies/turncoats. This is hard to understand and logically explain, and I am surprised by this, but not by the reconstruction activities themselves, because many, not all, did everything to achieve the aforementioned," says Bečarević.

Has anything from the agreement on forming the current KS government been realized, and how do you view the current trading?

- Nothing from the agreement on participation in power has been realized, and SBiH has never seen this as a problem. One deputy left us because she didn't get anything, and now she will get what she wants. Talking about party programs, disagreements in party leadership, or mistakes in party actions is an empty story because behind it all is a hunger for positions, which is now confirmed by giving everything the turncoats are asking for. Now there is trading, and SBiH was in power for almost 6 months and we asked for nothing and never asked for anything except the implementation of what we signed. Except for me and Dedović, in the entire spectrum of government appointments, director positions, supervisory structures of companies, we have not made a single appointment, nor have we been allowed to do so, and we have conscientiously and responsibly performed the job for which we took an oath. They say we attacked the "Trojka" in the media, but everyone is silent about them stealing our deputies. I will say again, not all of them. Only those who are hungry and desire what they claimed to fight against.

How will the reconstruction of the KS government proceed at all?

According to the law on the government of KS, the prime minister or a minister can resign. I have no intention of resigning. The third option is the absurd one, described in the Rules of Procedure of the KS Assembly, which is to dismiss ministers who have not acted in accordance with the constitution, laws, and general acts of KS. Now let someone explain to me the fact that we had 800-900 agenda items at the government sessions and all were adopted unanimously. That all the items I proposed were adopted unanimously. That no one ever said that I was not acting contrary to the constitution, laws, or general acts. The "Trojka" wants a change of majority by ousting SBiH, and that by dismissing ministers who did everything in coordination with the KS government. They want turncoats, and then they accuse us of not acting according to the constitution. Positions have been distributed for a month now, and the entire public in KS witnesses this, and now they want us to resign or be dismissed with fabricated accusations.

We have a proposal: Prime Minister, resign and do not accept the position of prime minister again, because the work of the KS government was unanimous. Do not accept the story of dismissal, because if we from SBiH violated the constitution, then the entire KS government did. Resignation is a human and moral act when they impose on you to dismiss someone for whom you had no objections regarding their work. A change of majority is normal, but is it normal when it is the product of immoral actions and everything that happened, for example, in Tuzla, and we listened to that mantra for months about buying deputies. Is it normal to form a majority with your former party colleague from which that deputy left the majority?

So, you will not resign?

The majority with SBiH still exists, and my motive for not resigning is so that the entire public sees that they are expelling us not because we didn't work, but because they want a majority with turncoats. I understand the desire, but one must preserve their honor, and there is none here. This is a shameless game with people who asked for nothing and those who demand positions, ministerial, director, supervisory, and all those who think they deserve them based on 147 votes won in their municipality.

Do you regret entering the KS Government when you see all this now?

No, because the government was unanimous, but politics destroyed the KS government. They will continue to destroy it because nothing good can grow from ruins. The KS budget is experiencing tectonic shifts, and there is less and less money, while demands are increasing. Now citizens will pay for everything that I disagreed with them paying for. My desire was to restructure companies and for citizens to pay less for the services they receive, and now experts from "faculties" from Serbia or higher education institutions will teach us how to do it. I said once, the ball is colorful and it keeps turning, but honor is singular.
