Baždarević announces squad for matches against Belgium and Cyprus

The coach of the "A" national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mehmed Baždarević, today announced the list of players for the qualifying matches against Belgium and Cyprus, for the 2018 World Cup qualification.

25 players have been invited to gather on October 3rd in Brussels, while the wider list includes Hodžić, Bajić, Kožulj, Stevanović, and Dumić, whom the coach counts on in case of injuries, reports Patria.

- I am optimistic ahead of these matches we are playing in the next ten days - Baždarević said.

- The list includes all well-known names, and in case of injuries, we would call someone from these five players: Armin Hodžić, Riad Bajić, Zvonimir Kožulj, Miroslav Stevanović, and Dario Dumić. Today, tomorrow, and Friday, I plan to watch some of our players' matches and check their form once again before the gathering. We expect all players in Brussels on Monday, except for Šunjić, who plays a league match that day.

The BiH-Belgium match is scheduled for October 7th at 8:45 PM in Brussels, while on the 10th of this month, our team will host Cyprus at "Bilino Polje".
