Baždarević: I hope to choose the best option that will lead Bosnia to Euro 2016

In Dublin, a press conference was held by the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team before the final training session ahead of the second playoff match against Ireland for qualification to Euro 2016 in France, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The coach first expressed solidarity with the victims in Paris.

- First of all, I would like to express the solidarity of our delegation with France and with everything that happened. I do not wish that upon anyone, especially innocent people. I sympathize with everyone in France, it is a country where I also live - said the coach. 

As the coach Mehmed Baždarević pointed out at the press conference, Edin Džeko had a minor injury sustained in Zenica during the first match against the Irish, but the best Bosnian striker will most likely be ready for tomorrow's match.

- That will be decided by tonight's training. Besides Mensur Mujdža, there are several other players who have sustained minor injuries, but I hope everyone will be ready for tomorrow's match. Tonight I will choose several options and I hope to pick the best one in order to achieve a favorable result. In the first match, we saw the strength of the Irish, primarily in defense, but in this match, given that they play in front of their home crowd, they will play more football than in Zenica. I think that in the formation from the last match we had plenty of chances, but we were not concrete enough in the final third - said Baždarević.

Asmir Begović, the goalkeeper of our national team, said that it will be a very difficult match, just like in Zenica, but he hopes that the Dragons will have more luck this time and qualify for the Euro.

When asked by journalists whether they are ready for extra time and penalties, he said that the coach and his team are ready for all options.
