BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - The Banja Luka City Crisis Staff at today's session considered the current situation related to coronavirus and the measures that will be taken in that regard.
All catering facilities in Banja Luka will be closed until Monday, March 23, said Mayor Igor Radojičić at a press conference.
As he explained, 750 people are currently under supervision in Banja Luka who have been in contact with infected persons in this city in one way or another.
In addition to catering facilities, all shops, except for those with basic necessities, will be closed until March 23. Also, all service activities, except for taxi services, will be closed until March 23.
A distance of one meter between customers must be marked, for which shops are responsible - stated Radojičić, adding that pharmacies will operate without changes to their working hours with ensured distancing.
He stated that the City Administration will send some employees to work from home, while a minimal work process will be organized in other city institutions and companies.
– The Health Center is entering a special operating regime due to the current situation – emphasized Radojičić.
Public kitchens can operate "over the counter" with maximum hygiene measures. Hotels, hostels, and accommodation facilities can provide services, but only for their guests.
