(Patria) - The bus carrying women from Bugojno, who photographed themselves today with the flag of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Banja Luka, is still under police escort and has not departed back.
Recall, citizens called the police today because women from Bugojno and Donji Vakuf photographed themselves with the flag of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Petar Kočić Park. Two police patrols intervened and identified the women.
It is a one-day trip organized by a tourist agency on the occasion of the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
As part of the trip, the women visited Jajce, and then in Banja Luka they toured the Ferhadija Mosque, Kastel, and then a visit to a well-known shopping center was planned.
"Shocking scenes from Banja Luka, police harass women from Bugojno and Donji Vakuf because several of them took pictures with flags and thus disturbed public order and peace, reports a passenger who set off on a trip for the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, along with dozens of others. They are humiliating them on the bus and not allowing them to speak. One passenger fell ill and was taken away by an ambulance. Is this the Bosnia and Herzegovina we want? Is Banja Luka a different country where the state flag cannot be displayed? Terrible," writes Bugojno Danas on FB.
However, after the photographing, the trip was interrupted. One bus left, but the other is still parked near Petar Kočić Park and is being guarded by one patrol.
