Football Club Sarajevo extended the contract with Dejan Bandović, and this excellent goalkeeper will play for the current winner of the Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina next season as well, reports the Patria News Agency.
- I am glad that I will be a member of Football Club Sarajevo next season as well. I hope for a successful period, which, I believe, we will start with good performances in European matches - said Bandović, upon signing the contract extension for the 2014/15 season.
Statistically speaking, the defense of Football Club Sarajevo has been the best in the country in the last two seasons of the Premier League, and the goalkeeper of the maroon team, Dejan Bandović, deserves great credit for that. With excellent saves, Bandović earned the epithet of the best goalkeeper in the Bosnian-Herzegovinian league. Bandović was also on the extended list of the selector of the "A" national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Safet Sušić, for the FIFA World Cup in Brazil in 2014.
