Bandić: NIP is trying to subordinate the entire system to its politics, Konaković wants to share responsibility with a meeting of Bosniaks

(Patria) - Head of the Party of BiH Club in the KS Assembly Muamer Bandić stated that a large number of opposition and position deputies criticized the work of the KS Minister of Internal Affairs Admir Katica during an urgent session of the KS Assembly on the security situation.

"If we want to raise the level of security in the KS, we must talk about facts. There were a number of position deputies who disagreed with the actions of Minister Katica, who has been here for five years, and there is a large number of unresolved criminal cases," Bandić said on Jutro za sve on BHRT.

The Party of BiH proposed a conclusion calling for Katica's resignation, but the conclusion did not receive the necessary support. However, three deputies from the NIP Club and Arijana Memić, who left the club yesterday, abstained. Besides Memić, these were Danijela Kristić, Aljoša Čampara, and Elvis Vreto.

When asked about Memić's departure from the NIP Club, Bandić said that she is fighting for the murder of her brother to be resolved.

"She is someone who is trying to justly resolve the murder of her brother. We are all witnesses that proceedings were held for a traffic accident that the prosecution did not prove. Politics influenced the bodies that conducted the investigation. We have a situation where we are not all equal before the law, and she is trying to resolve it justly," he said.

Regarding whether there is a division within NIP, Bandić said he doesn't know, but he knows that all of NIP's actions are aimed at politicizing the entire system, both executive and legislative.

"They want to subordinate the entire system to their policies," he said.

He also commented on the call by NIP President Elmedin Konaković to Bosniak leaders to meet in Sarajevo, which a larger number of invited guests refused.

"Konaković is aware that through his political actions, he has subordinated and politically marginalized an ethnic group, Bosniaks. He is now trying to hide such politics behind such a meeting. He should have invited them when he formed the government, when he violated the Constitution and agreed to an imposed government. When he did that with the leaders of the Trojka, he did not seek the support of the Bosniak corps. His policies were disastrous, and now he is trying to relativize everything and have those leaders take over his responsibility. He is trying to justify the legitimacy he did not receive for forming the government," he explained.

Bandić believes that there cannot be a new war conflict in BiH, but that it is strange that Milorad Dodik is not sanctioned for undermining the constitutional order and that there are no reactions.

"If someone is not punished for undermining the constitutional order, then they are given room to threaten conflict. The judiciary must do its part. No one can be above the law. This is unacceptable behavior, and if the judiciary does not sanction him, then he is given room to expand his illegal activities.

The story around Dodik is slowly coming to an end. The proceedings against him, and especially the actions of the US administration regarding preventing the use of finances, will lead to a situation where he will be given some room to withdraw himself, or he will ultimately be prosecuted and his political activity will be banned," said Bandić.
