Bandić: We citizens of BiH must be prepared, the international community and state institutions will not or do not want to protect us

(Patria) - The Serbian Army at parades in Bratunac and Prijedor, and our state institutions have no idea about it. The Minister of Foreign Affairs is silent, and the Minister of Defense is looking for a way to get out of responsibility. Someone must come forward to the citizens and point the finger at those responsible who allowed this, said Muamer Bandić, delegate in the KS Assembly and member of the Presidency of the Party of BiH.

"Is there a greater symbolic confirmation of the 'Serbian world' than the marching of soldiers from Serbia through Prijedor, a city where Chetnik phalanxes exterminated Bosniaks and Croats?", asked Bandić.

He adds. "This move will have serious political, security, and social implications. These events are an alarm that must provoke a decisive reaction from all patriots."

"Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina must be prepared to defend themselves from obvious aggression, which the international community is watching peacefully. Such events cross all boundaries of acceptability, goodwill, and are getting out of control. Anyone who thinks we should wait for the reaction of the international community should remember the nineties, as well as Ukraine, which Russia tormented and then tried to occupy", points out Bandić.

He notes: "therefore, for us residents of Bosnia and Herzegovina, this is a clear indication that elements of the state system exist only on paper and that its institutions are destroyed and politically privatized".

"Likewise, it is clear to us that the state institutions, as they are, cannot ensure the security and equality of our citizens", said Bandić.

As he states, those who are supposed to represent and protect us within these institutions are not doing so, nor are they interested in such a thing".

"They are so preoccupied with returning favors to their partners Dodik and Čović, that I expect, in line with their policies of continuous dialogue and relaxation of relations, they will end up at the celebration of the 'liberation' of Srebrenica on July 11th", concluded Bandić.
