Balkan Congress of Radiologists from October 16 to 18 in Sarajevo

The Balkan Congress of Radiologists will be held for the thirteenth time, from October 16 to 18, at the Hotel Europa in Sarajevo. This congress is the most important achievement of the Balkan Union of Radiologists, which will provide an immense educational experience for representatives of radiologists, not only in our country but also in the entire region, reports the Patria news agency.

The ceremonial opening will take place on October 16 at 1:30 PM.

Representatives of the Organizing Committee of the Balkan Congress of Radiologists 2015 are: Prof. Dr. Zulejha Merhemić (President); Prof. Dr. Vesna Sarajlić (Vice President); Prof. Dr. Sebija Izetbegović (Member); Prof. Dr. Lidija Lincender-Cvijetić (Member); Prof. Dr. Vanesa Bešlagić (Member); Prof. Dr. Marijana Karlović-Vidaković (Member); Prof. Dr. Enra Suljić  (Member); Prof. Dr. Amela Sofić (Member).

The Balkan region counts over 120,000 radiologists, including four former presidents of the European Society of Radiology, the European Congress of Radiology, and the European Society of Neuroradiology.

The Balkan Congress of Radiologists 2015 is the first congress in Bosnia and Herzegovina accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education with 12 CME (Continuing Medical Education) credits.

Over the two days of the congress, an attractive and modern educational and scientific research program will integrate all aspects and disciplines of radiology, emphasizing the most interesting topics in contemporary radiology.

In addition to individual lectures, workshops, interactive and scientific research sessions have been organized, which will provide all participants, radiologists, and physicians with the opportunity to meet around 55 renowned invited lecturers and colleagues from Europe and the Balkan countries, who will share their knowledge, experience, and ideas with them, enabling better understanding, fuller acceptance, and practical application of modern principles in radiology.
