Balijagić: The blast blew out a door weighing a full ton, and the washing machine melted

Lawyer Faruk Balijagić says he is tired, it is difficult for him to gather his thoughts, so he does not want to say much about the attack on his office in Tuzla, on Friday shortly after 11 p.m.

In a short interview with the Bosnian news agency Patria, Balijagić said that it is evident only that the explosion was of extreme destructive power. The force of the blast melted the armored entrance door weighing a full ton, as well as the washing machine in the bathroom.

- I still cannot say anything about the entire case. I am tired - said Balijagić.

The explosive device was placed in Balijagić's office by an unknown person. After the detonation, a fire broke out, and the explosion itself destroyed Balijagić's office to such an extent that it is now difficult to recognize it. Much documentation was destroyed.

Balijagić says he still does not know what from the archive is missing. However, the entire case will not slow down his work, because he possesses all documentation in duplicate copies, which are stored at another address. He cannot speak about the motives of the attack.

Faruk Balijagić is a controversial lawyer from Tuzla. This is not the first attack on his property. Earlier, his house in the Tuzla neighborhood of Kula was shot at with an automatic rifle.
