Baković from Makarska: There was no talk about financial conditions

At the first meeting of the leaders of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Vahid Halilhodžić, the celebrated Bosnian football expert, there was no concrete agreement, and only one conclusion was reached, namely that negotiations would continue, confirmed to the Patria news agency.

As Jasmin Baković, the general secretary of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, told us after the meeting, the negotiations were extremely cordial.

- The meeting was long and cordial, but ended without an agreement on cooperation, with the conclusion that negotiations would continue in the coming days, by which time Vahid will think it over further. There was no talk about financial conditions - said Baković.

Incidentally, the meeting was also attended by Ivan Beus, Sead Kajtaz, and Dino Begić, the president of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who are also members of the newly formed "ad hoc" commission for the selection of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team coach. All of them still harbor hope that Halilhodžić, despite his private commitments, will change his mind and take the helm of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
