Bakir in Kiseljak greeted BiH defenders, Srebrenica, and Professor Izetbegović! (video)

At the SDA election rally held last night in Kiseljak, the candidate for the Bosniak member of the Presidency of BiH, Bakir Izetbegović, while greeting those present, also mentioned his own wife, placing her in the same category as the defenders of BiH and Srebrenica, writes the BiH news agency Patria.  

Also, he used the beginning of his address to list all the merits of the late Alija Izetbegović and Sulejman Tihić for strengthening the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the successes of the SDA during their presidencies. In his entire speech, the only thing he had to "boast" about and attribute to himself as a political point was the Turkish loan for BiH. 

Furthermore, speaking about the late Tihić, Bakir Izetbegović confirmed that he had literally "written off" the SDA president a year ago, when he practically began the final battle, started in 2009, to take over the position of the party's top leader.  

It is interesting that Izetbegović, until Tihić's death, did not mention all the merits that the SDA president had in terms of leading pro-Bosniak and state-building policies, and that now, after his death, he has decided to apparently secure votes and win over that faction within the SDA that opposes his policies by talking about Tihić's political engagement.

- Esteemed citizens of Kiseljak, my dear SDA members, esteemed colleagues from the SDA leadership, defenders of BiH and Srebrenica, dear and esteemed Professor Izetbegović, eselamu alejkum and good evening - said Izetbegović.

- Tonight, our late president Tihić is not with us. On this day a year ago, I replaced him for the first time in Brussels at the "Sejdić-Finci" negotiations, and he left slowly, so we have already gotten used to the fact that he is not with us, and we will miss him greatly - said Izetbegović.

- Holbrooke said about the late Alija Izetbegović that if he hadn't existed, BiH wouldn't have existed either. And I will tell you about the late president Tihić. The best period in the post-Dayton era, from 2002 to 2006, when we united the BiH Armed Forces, the intelligence service, the BiH Border Police, and created 61 institutions, would not have happened. They were chess grandmasters of politics from whom we learned and, thank God, we learned, and we can continue on their path - said Izetbegović, among other things.

Izetbegović particularly addressed the period of the past eight years, which he says were lost, forgetting that the SDA was in power all that time, and he was a member of the Presidency of BiH for four years.
