Bakir does not want to hear demands: I will not negotiate with Mehmedović, Šepić, Sokolović, and Ahmetović

Bakir Izetbegović, president of the Party of Democratic Action of BiH, commented today on the rift within the party and the announcement by four MPs in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament, Šemsudin Mehmedović, Senad Šepić, Salko Sokolović, and Sadik Ahmetović, that they will send a letter to Izetbegović outlining their objections, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

- Regarding their objections and demands, I have not received them, and I would prefer not to. I have no intention of negotiating with groups of people who are dissatisfied with their position after the Congress; that would not be the right path – said Izetbegović.

He also stated that the party bodies have not discussed the physical assault by Asim Sarajlić on Sadik Ahmetović, which occurred in the premises of the SDA Club in the BiH Parliament building.

- Regarding the incident that happened, I think it has calmed down through a conversation between Asim Sarajlić and Sadik Ahmetović, but the SDA Presidency will comment on it. Last time, we had an extensive agenda that took us hours longer than planned, so we did not get to consider it – said Izetbegović.

We remind you that four state MPs decided three months ago to seek changes within the SDA, and dissatisfaction culminated after the SDA Congress on May 26.
