Bakir Hadžiomerović: I will win the elections

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) is convinced that the party's candidate for the Bosniak member of the Presidency of BiH, Bakir Hadžiomerović, will win the elections in October this year, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

Hadžiomerović himself stated at today's press conference in Sarajevo that it is time for citizens to decide whether they want the country's destruction or its integration, and called on all leftists in the country to unite and move forward.

- When you drive a car, you sometimes need to look in the rearview mirror, but you won't get anywhere if you keep looking in the rearview mirror. We will look forward – said Hadžiomerović.

Zlatko Lagumdžija, president of the SDP, said that the party was looking for a person who would win the elections, not the other way around, and Hadžiomerović, Lagumdžija said, is precisely the new member of the BiH Presidency.

- We wanted a person who is a proven fighter against corruption, a patriot both before and after the war, a person who represents the voice of the people and who is a member of the SDP. We wanted a person who lives in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a person who will represent the citizens of this country. We found that candidate, and that is Bakir Hadžiomerović – said Lagumdžija.

In addition to Hadžiomerović, at the press conference, the SDP also presented Enes Suljkanović for the president of Republika Srpska, who has already served one term as the vice-president of Republika Srpska, reports Patria.
