Bakalar toured printing facilities for ballots with journalists

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Željko Bakalar, President of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, addressed the media today at the company "Unionvestplastika" in Semizovac near Vogošća, where the printing of ballots has begun. Seven million ballots are planned to be printed.

Bakalar said that among the first ballots will be those for Banja Luka and the Sarajevo municipality of Centar.

Answering numerous questions from journalists, he confirmed that they have received many reports of irregularities so far and that this year they have an unusually large number of applications for voting from abroad.

He emphasized that no one will be deprived of their right to vote and that for individuals who test positive for coronavirus, they have prepared mobile teams called Covid-19. According to him, infected individuals must have isolation orders.

Political parties have been allowed to monitor the printing process of the election material.
