Bajtal: Nothing is impossible, but nothing is guaranteed, including conflicts or 'non-conflicts'

(Patria) - Esad Bajtal, philosopher and sociologist, commented on the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina in Novi dan on N1, and also summarized the year 2021, which will be marked by turbulence and worrying political steps.

As Bajtal stated, thanks to politicians, citizens live in darkness and gloom, meaning they are surviving.

“Everything is reduced to the greyness of ethno-warfare and ethno-nonsense. In that darkness, it is best to say good evening regardless of the time of day. Citizens are powerless to change anything. And why would those in power change anything? The rich, excessively rich from plunder, have stripped us bare, starved us, exhausted us. Why would they change? They live in Hollywood-like lavish splendor, paid better than European parliamentarians,” said Bajtal.

He emphasized that many expect, and he asks the international community to find a solution in BiH.

“Even the best policy is the worst because politics and morality are not in touch. Our criteria are constantly going down, you couldn't create chaos unless you manipulated the masses to the extreme. That's why we live in an inside-out sock. Nothing is in its place in BiH, and unfortunately, not in the region either,” he added.

He says that nothing is impossible, but nothing is guaranteed, including conflicts or 'non-conflicts'.

“Those who are plotting are ready to achieve their Machiavellian predetermined goal, to cause chaos, a greater conflict. The question remains for Europe and the whole world - have they understood what happened here in the 90s, what they gave to those who brought us here? We are witnessing irrational demands again, very dirty language, below street level. If you bathe in dirty water, how will you come out, will you come out the same? That dirty water can only bring back the same rhetoric, an absence of elementary morality and decency. When you add to that the facts that education is set up to rationalize all of this, then we have that Machiavellian goal,” emphasized Bajtal.

He pointed out that he has called for mandatory psychiatric examinations for all those in public office - teachers, educators, but also those who lead and manage the masses.

“They need a health certificate. How do people at the market agree, there are hundreds of people there and they agree, they don't collide, they don't curse?” Bajtal wonders.

As he says, BiH was Europe before Europe.

“We were that already in 1946. Europe has been trying to organize itself for 30 years the way we were organized. Here, they are still negotiating with ethno-robbers, talking about the path to the EU. They don't want it, they say they want it, but they don't. They are lying to them and to all of us. You have politicized crime, legalized theft. 110 people here have assets worth about 10 billion dollars, how did they get that while we are all hungry? A theater of the absurd. Kafka would find a paradise for his writing here, and not only him, Camus would also find everything he talked about here and confirm all his pronouncements. Brecht, Beckett - Waiting for Godot. We have been waiting for decades and watching ourselves die. That is the logic of the absurd, and 'good day, good morning, good evening' are part of that abnormality.
