Bajrović: We expect 200 buses in Potočari tomorrow

Families of victims, as well as the first participants of the Peace March, are slowly arriving in Srebrenica, specifically Potočari, where 175 bodies of innocent Bosniak victims will be buried tomorrow, writes the Patria News Agency. An eerie silence echoes through the Memorial Center in Potočari, and a large number of people are expected tomorrow to pay their respects to the souls who sought peace for 19 full years.

Mirsad Bajrović, president of the logistics committee of the Organizational Committee for marking the 19th anniversary of the genocide in Srebrenica, a "UN Safe Zone," told NAP that he expects between 180 and 200 buses of citizens from all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina to come for the funeral in Potočari tomorrow.

- So, I am talking about the number of buses that we have organized, and which will be financed by the Ministry of Refugees and Displaced Persons. The most buses will depart from places where people who fled Srebrenica have settled - says Bajrović.

He further noted that the largest number of buses are coming from the Tuzla and Sarajevo Cantons.

- Transportation will also be organized from every returnee settlement. Of course, the capacities of these vehicles are smaller, but we have tried to ensure that everyone who wishes can truly come to Srebrenica.
