Bajrović: The deployment of BiH Armed Forces on January 9 was a test balloon, Pendeš and others know what they did

The Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has opened a case against the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mladen Ivanić, Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Marina Pendeš and her deputies based on a criminal complaint due to the participation of soldiers in the celebration of the Day of Republika Srpska, on January 9 in Banja Luka.

The criminal complaint was filed by the SDP BiH, DF and the Civic Alliance, and the president of the Civic Alliance, Reuf Bajrović, was a guest on the show Dan uživo, Patria reports.

He spoke about why they filed the complaint and what they expect:

"It is very clear that the chain of command was broken and it is important that the Prosecutor's Office protects the law and the constitutional order and the rule of law. We considered it important for the Prosecutor's Office to react, which is why we filed the complaint. We prepared a very thorough criminal complaint on time, and if it ends as it should, it would be a big plus for BiH."

Bajrović also previously called on the Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Marina Pendeš, to resign.

"Pendeš is specifically Dragan Čović's minister. She is clearly not interested in the law, especially for a country that wants to be a member of the NATO pact. The deployment of members of the Armed Forces of BiH on the street is a very irresponsible and illegal move, therefore she is just one part of the story. As far as I understand, Deputy Jusić tried to recall the army, however Jeleč did what he did, and Pendeš is an integral part of that," emphasized the president of the Civic Alliance.

"They know very well what they did. This was a test balloon, and people from the SDA, especially Bakir Izetbegović, helped them. I am interested in why we reduced the number of soldiers, while Croatia and Serbia are increasing theirs," he added.

Bajrović also said that they filed the complaint due to the fact that Goran Salihović did not want to prosecute Dodik regarding the Bobar bank case.

"Goran Salihović actively prevented investigations into Dodik, so probably this one too. We want those who are responsible, including the so-called Referendum Commission, to be held accountable before the law, because it is a clear violation of the law."

Bajrović recently spoke on the topic "Neither domestic nor European ethno-territorial divisions of BiH will pass" and said that an attempt is being made to bring about the division of BiH, and regarding who is attempting this, he said:

"You have seen that even a high-ranking person, such as Božo Petrov, presents himself as a supposed reformer but talks like Tuđman. Croatian politics has returned to the '90s. I am a man who loves all peoples, and individuals in BiH who have Croatian passports should travel with their Croatian passports, that has nothing to do with interfering in the affairs of a neighboring country. Croatia is behaving irresponsibly, and we must defend ourselves. The fact that we defend our sovereignty, our honor and dignity does not mean we do not love citizens from Croatia."

Last weekend, Bajrović was on Jahorina together with the leaders of the DF and SDP, where they held a meeting.

"You saw recently what happened, that there are people in both the DF and SDP who do not belong there, who are infiltrated into these or other parties, and it is important to show who those people are," he said, adding that personal animosities should be set aside and that they agree that this government is the worst government BiH has ever had.

Regarding the formation of the Bloc for Europe, a democratic bloc in BiH, he said: "It is important that independent mayors come forward and say they will not form a coalition with the SDA, to state what their long-term plan is, because politics is not just about parking spaces, and we can't wait to hear their plans."

Regarding the resolution submitted by Croatian representatives to the European Parliament, he said:

"What Croatian representatives in the European Parliament say is actually said by Božo Petrov. If the EU adopts that policy, then BiH will probably never enter Europe. They are trying to achieve war goals using the European Parliament. And I advocate for the federalization of Croatia."

Regarding the revision of the BiH lawsuit against Serbia, he said: "Izetbegović must decide what he wants, come before the public and announce what new facts exist, but also what Softić thinks. It is frivolous to talk about a revision some 15 days before the deadline. Why don't we pay for serious lawyers, given that money is being spent on unimportant decisions and events. If there are grounds for filing, it should be done, and if there are not and if one knowingly enters into a situation to lose, that is very irresponsible."
